This Android application was developed in 2013 to help find the prayer times and guide people on how to pray in accordance with the sunnah. Comprised of the most basic issues about prayer, this app was originally developed in Dhivehi language to help local people of all abilities to access and understand it without any barrier.
This app has information on how to do wudu (ablution), the dua (supplication) after wudu, what invalidates wudu, importance of prayer, evilness of being careless of prayer, conditions for prayer, the compulsory parts of prayer, how to perform prayer, what invalidates prayer, zikr of prayer, traveller’s prayer, shortened prayer and combined prayer.
Considering the feedback from our users over the past years, a complete revamp of the app has now been launched in three languages: Dhivehi, English and Arabic. We pray and hope that Allah, the All-Mighty accepts our sincere efforts. May Allah make this application beneficial for all of us and bless us in our work.
